Once an idea, now OSHA-mandated

Some years ago, Inventor Robert, an Australian-American construction worker working in the Northwest, submitted an invention idea originally called the Impalement Protector. It was a simple but effective way to protect workers from accidental injury, or even death, while on construction jobs.

Robert's rebar protection covers are safely placed on the ends of steel reinforcement rods, prevalent on building and roadway construction sites everywhere. The idea quickly became OSHA mandated.
