Understandably, the first step that many inventors take after coming up with an idea or invention is to contact professional companies who deal with patents. These companies are a necessary step in obtaining intellectual property protection and taking a product to market.

Once an inventor decides to look for a company to work with, they understandably want to ensure that this company is reputable and that they are going to put the inventors investment to good work.
