Although it is the philosophy of InventSAI that Legal, Engineering and Marketing are equally important, it is clear that Legal is certainly the keystone.  As part of Montgomery IP Associates, SAI employs the services of registered patent practitioners who specialize in working with individual and small-entity inventors. A patent, copyright or trademark provides ownership of an invention idea and stakes out the boundaries of the ownership rights.  Nevertheless, just getting a patent (or a copyright or a trademark) issued is not a guarantee of market success.

Inventor Tip:

Legitimate companies won't attempt to produce and market your idea until they help protect YOUR rights to your invention, first.

Inventors are cautioned that legitimate companies don't consider commercializing an invention idea without the inventor first having the proper legal filing accomplished by a competent attorney or agent.
