Be sure to ask any company that offers you a Patent Search if they are indeed using a licensed Patent Practitioner.

Many individual inventors we talk to either try to write and file their own patents or use a company that outsources these services to an outside firm and can lose control of their project. It is standard operating procedure at InventSAI for every client to receive a Statement of Feasibility, signed and certified by our Professional Engineer, before filing a patent or submitting an invention idea to market. It is important to note that only Registered Professional Engineers can legally provide an engineering opinion. They are regulated by the state and represent a small percentage of all the engineers working in the field.
